Boats are an important part of Dawncraft. They allow speedier travel and also currently allow unlimited storage space. As they are so useful they require a fair amount of time and resources to build.
Boat Crafting[]
Boat construction platforms can be created using deeds that are crafted using the shipwrighting skill. Before creating the platform make sure you have all the necessary materials listed below as well as on the deed tooltip, otherwise the construction platform may rot away before the boat is completed and everything will be lost. To create the platform right click the deed and then click on the water. Do not place the construction platform too close to shore or else the boat might get stuck.

Development Notes[]
Currently many features of boats are unimplemented or incomplete. For instance they have unlimited cargo space, this will most likely change. Additionaly, despite saying otherwise in the description, all boats can sail on the open ocean currently.
Things to come include naval combat, most likely variable speed, maintenance requirements, the ability to let others access the boat's hold and the ability to transport passengers.
